Consultation Services
Who this is for:
Therapists who have a foundational understanding of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and are wanting to learn more about how to work with an ADHD, autistic, or AuDHD system in their clinical work
Neurodivergent therapists who are interested in integrating the principles of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and want consultation from an IFS-trained therapist as they are hoping to find ways to adapt the model to feel more congruent within their own systems
Couples therapists who are seeking support to tease out the nuance between protective parts and innate communication and sensory needs when bringing an IFS or IFIO approach to their work with mixed neurotype couples, where one or more partners are ADHD, autistic, or AuDHD
What this space can offer:
A focused container for your therapist parts to show up with their questions and challenges to receive compassionate guidance to creatively and collaboratively explore the parts within you needing support in relation to your clients’ parts
A space for learner parts to expand your understanding of what this model can feel like when it might look different than what you learned as the “basic protocol”
An opportunity to build your confidence and deepen the connection you have with clients who move through the world in an ADHD, autistic, AuDHD brain and body by more clearly understanding their unique expressions of parts and Self
What I bring to this work:
Lived experience as a late identified AuDHDer with a deep resonance with some of the most common parts and burdens that can show up in a neurodivergent system
Over 100 hours in formal IFS training, both through the IFS Institute (Level 1 with Lead Trainers Tamala Floyd and Sand Chang) as well as through an integrative Beyond IFS Immersive Program (with Certified IFS Therapist Adrienne Glasser)
Over 11 years as a helping professional, formerly trained as an Integrative Hypnotherapist (2014), where I was unconsciously exploring the relationships amongst parts and Self through trance states, then shifting to the field of Marriage and Family Therapy (2021) where I continue to expand my work now as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 160649)
Over 2 years of clinical experience specifically adapting the IFS model for neurodivergent clients
Over 2 ½ years of personal experience as an AuDHD client working with an IFS Level 2 Therapist to better attune to my own relationship between Self and parts
Ongoing investments to stay current with both neurodiversity-affirming practices to better understand the broad spectrum of neurodivergent experiences beyond my own, alongside clinical and professional development to expand my understanding of how to lean into the edges of the IFS model while remaining anchored to the core of it

To create an equitable exchange, the financial investment for this service at this time is your published clinical rate when working with your own individual clients

There is fluidity around the structure of our sessions together. You might find that one meeting gives you plenty of new insights to begin integrating into your clinical work with neurodivergent clients. You might feel the greatest benefit from ongoing support to deepen your confidence adapting the model for your practice. We will collaborate to plan the cadence of our work together however it best suits you, with no formal commitment to a rigid schedule.
-
Although we do create safety and space for you to bring forward your own parts in a clinical consultation meeting, the focus of our work is on the dynamic between your own parts and your clients’ parts, unlike a therapy session where the focus is solely on deepening your connection to Self and unburdening your more vulnerable parts.
As a consultant, I am joining alongside you in your clinical practice, so my role might offer similar elements as a supervisor who offers guidance and feedback, but, unlike a supervisory relationship, you are fully responsible for how you implement the insights that you receive clinically in our work together.
Please note that these clinical consultation hours do not count toward IFS certification at this time. -
